Laser Speed Purchasing Policies

Price Matching Policy
We’ll match any other office products suppliers current advertised price for products we carry. We reserve the right to limit quantities. Ad errors, close-outs, clearances and internet offers do not apply. Competitor’s shipping and handling fees will be added to competitor’s price for fair comparison. Offer applies only to the time order is placed. LaserSpeed reserves the right to refuse any order, or to refuse to sell any item below cost. The terms of this agreement are subject to change without notice.

Credit Terms
First orders are C.O.D. Credit terms of 30 days can be established on second order (except for residential addresses). Terms on equipment sales are 15 days. Government and corporate P.O.s welcome. Credit application may be required. For your convenience we accept Visa and Mastercard.

Sales Tax
Prices listed do not include sales tax. Ontario residents add HST;

Product Difficulties
Have your product close at hand and call us. Our staff will talk you through possible solutions and, if required, put you in contact with the support department of the manufacturer. If it is established that your product is faulty and is still within the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will arrange for replacement.

Return Policy
Most products we sell come with a limited LaserSpeed 30-day refund or replace guarantee. Those items that are exceptions have a similar but shorter guarantee due to manufacturer policies. Ask your sales representative when you place your order what guarantees apply to your individual items. If a product is defective in any way call us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 30 days of the original invoice date. Defective hardware will be repaired or replaced at our discretion (with the exception of a few vendors). Please call for details. Due to copyright laws, software is not refundable unless returned unopened in original packaging with documentation. Defective software will be replaced if we are contacted within 30 days of original invoice. Opened computers and equipment are not returnable. All items sold include the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Compatible products sold by LaserSpeed come with a limited one year warranty. The replacement or refunding of supplies and equipment is strictly subject to the individual manufacturer’s policies. Leased equipment cannot be returned. When a customer notifies us of a defective product within the time provided for in the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, the product will be replaced as soon as possible – credit/exchange subject to defect confirmation by LaserSpeed/product manufacturer. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be acquired before any product can be returned to LaserSpeed. Please have the following information ready when calling to receive an RMA number: customer name, invoice number and reason for return. The item must be in it’s original packaging, including all manuals, disks, cables, etc. The packaging must not be damaged or defaced. If your return is complete, your only obligation is transportation charges and stocking fee’s, where applicable. We recommend that products be re-boxed for shipping. Please write the RMA number prominently on the outside of the shipping box. Products must be received at our location within 10 business days of RMA issue. If you return a product using your own courier, please note tracking number for your future reference. We reserve the right to refuse any product return without proper authorization. The returned product will be tested upon receipt and if no default is evident, you will be informed and the product returned to you. If a fault is found, it will be replaced or repaired, depending on manufacturer’s warranty. Products are not sold on a trial basis. If the product is opened and decide you don’t want it, please call your sales representative immediately. If the item is in saleable condition LaserSpeed can – at our discretion – approve an RMA, subject to a 25% restocking fee. LaserSpeed reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after this 30 day period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only. (Does not apply to leases.)

Shipping Information
We offer next business day delivery for all “in stock” items in the Toronto GTA. Some geographical areas will require more than a 1-day delivery period. Shipping service is as follows; *Free for orders over $50.00 (In the Toronto GTA)
*$10.00 for orders under $50.00
*Same Day – applicable local courier rate
 All shipments are insured at no extra charge.

Late Deliveries
Please call your sales representative if your order has not arrived at the expected time. Our staff will check on your order status and see if there is a problem.

Shipping Damage
If your order arrives with damaged packaging, you have two options;
* If the damage is minor, you can sign for the package, with a notation on the courier sheet that the box was damaged
* If the package may have internal damage you can simply refuse the delivery
In either case, please call us within 48 hours to make us aware of the situation.

Product or Quantity Error
Check your orders immediately upon receipt. If the products or quantities do not match with the packing slip, please call us immediately. We will review your order and find where the error occurred. LaserSpeed will arrange for a pick-up of incorrect items and replace them with the correct ones – at no additional charge.

In order to provide you with up to date information about new items and versions, certain products are announced by the manufacturer, and included in our catalogue, even though they are not shipping at publication time. LaserSpeed is not responsible for typographical or photographic errors that may appear in this catalogue. LaserSpeed Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data or profits arising out of or in connection with defective or inoperable products. LaserSpeed Inc. makes no warranties with respect to the equipment or software. It is understood that all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness of a particular purpose, and Year 2000 compliance, except as may be offered by the manufacturer, are specially excluded. LaserSpeed appreciates your business and our staff will make every effort to ensure that you are completely satisfied with all of our products and services.
